About this notice
This notice describes how the 3dcove service handles information when you browse the library, create an account or save assets. Contact 3dcove Support at the address above for privacy questions or requests concerning your account.
Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares basic account information, such as your email address, profile name and profile image, to create or authenticate your 3dcove account. This sign-in does not request access to your Gmail messages or Google Drive files. Your Google password is not shared with 3dcove.
Information used to provide the service
Account information includes your email address, authentication information and optional display name. Product records include your boards, saved assets, notes, acquisitions, download allowances, and account restrictions. Consent records record the relevant notice version, preference and server timestamp.
Service providers
3dcove uses self-hosted Supabase for accounts and application records, Hetzner for hosting, Cloudflare for the website and media delivery, and Resend for email delivery. Polar hosts paid checkout and handles payment information under its own terms and privacy notice. 3dcove receives the order, subscription, customer and billing status needed to provide membership; it does not receive or store your complete card number. Asset delivery may take you to Google Drive, where Google’s own terms apply.
Search with text or an image
When you submit a text search or choose an image to search, our server sends the search text or prepared image to Google’s Gemini API to create a search embedding. For image search, your browser first resizes the image and converts it to JPEG. 3dcove uses the embedding to find catalog matches and does not save your uploaded image as an account or catalog file. A hash of the image may be used to cache public result cards for up to six hours. Technical request data is used to limit abusive search traffic.
Why information is used
Account and workspace information is used to provide the service you request. Technical request information, including IP addresses and browser information, may be processed by hosting and security providers to deliver the site, prevent abuse and investigate errors.
Product analytics permission
When you create an account and accept the Terms and this Privacy notice, you also permit 3dcove to record a bounded set of catalog, asset-view and search events to improve discovery and the service. This does not include notes, board or project names, full URLs, contact details, payment data, access tokens or signed provider links. You can withdraw or restore this permission below at any time without losing your account. Measured visits may also retain the approximate country supplied by Cloudflare on your first observed signed-in visit. 3dcove stores the country code for member statistics, without storing the raw IP address for this purpose. It does not establish your residence or the country where you signed up. Organization statistics count existing projects, boards and saved assets without exposing their private content. Existing sign-in IP records may also be matched locally to an approximate country, with the observation date and source retained. Those IPs are not sent to a geolocation service or copied into the country statistics table.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is separate from your account agreement and uses analytics cookies by default to measure visits. Choosing Analytics off in Manage stops Google measurement and removes analytics cookies. Accepting also enables the 3dcove product analytics record. While Google Analytics is enabled, Google may receive a cookie or similar browser identifier, coarse geography, sanitized page paths and limited product interaction events. Google’s Business Data Responsibility commitments apply to Google’s processing; see Google’s Business Data Responsibility information. Use the Cookie preferences control below to change this choice.
Optional Meta advertising measurement
Advertising measurement starts on unless you turn it off in Cookie preferences. When on, Meta receives browser and advertising click identifiers, browser information, public page visits and limited events for completed registration, first model acquisitions and paid Premium purchases. This helps measure Instagram and Facebook ads and build advertising audiences. Advertising, Google Analytics and marketing email preferences are separate. Private workspace names, search text, email addresses, payment details and download links are not included in these events. Meta processes advertising data under its Privacy Policy. Turn Advertising off and save in Cookie preferences to stop future events and clear Meta cookies from this browser. First model acquisition means successful access recorded in your library; it does not confirm the file was saved to your device. Already delivered advertising events cannot be recalled by changing this preference.
Storage and account deletion
Account and workspace records are stored while your account exists. Requesting deletion closes access immediately and starts a seven-day recovery window. After that window, an automatic process permanently removes your sign-in account, profile, projects, boards, saved content and acquired library. Limited payment, refund and security records are retained separately where needed, with account links and unnecessary personal details removed. Deletion stops pending account emails. Backup copies expire through the backup rotation; restoring a backup must not reactivate a deleted account. Payment and email providers may retain records under their own obligations. Contact support to request access, correction or deletion and to ask about the status of your request.
Providers and international processing
The providers listed above may process information outside your country. Opening an external download or payment service subjects that interaction to the provider’s own privacy notice. Google sign-in does not authorise access to your personal Drive files.
Your choices
You can choose email registration instead of Google sign-in and remove 3dcove’s access through your Google account settings. Removing Google access does not itself delete your 3dcove account. Contact support to exercise applicable privacy rights or make a complaint about how your information is handled.
